Description

Dadaist UFO, CongopunQ is the most recent project from Cyril Atef, the genius of drums who was one of the two founders of Bumcello band, by example.
Still searching for a more and more largest freedom, this album highlights with extravagance, derision and humor the game of conventions and reject of logic.
On stage, the performer Dr. Kong embodies the music, and the masses are litterally hypnotized by his continual crazy goings-on.
Unclassifiable. Their music is a kind of psychelectro pop with the punk energy that characterizes their processes.
So... Only doing shit? That could be the translation of the title of the first track. "Nevertheless... It grooves" would say Galilea.

Véritable O.V.N.I. dadaïste, Congopunq est le dernier projet de Cyril Atef, le batteur de génie de Bumcello, pour n'en citer qu'un.
A la recherche d'une toujours plus grande liberté,
cet album met en avant le jeu avec les convenances et les conventions, le rejet de la raison et de la logique, l'extravagance, la dérision et l'humour.
Inclassable. Leur musique est une psyché-électro pop avec l'énergie punk qui caractérise leur démarche. Sur scène, cette musique est incarnée par Dr. Kong, un performeur scénique qui hypnotise les foules de ses loufoqueries incessantes.
N'importe quoi? C'est le titre de la première chanson... "Et pourtant.. Elle groove!" dirait un Galilée des rythmes.
