ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Sofia Rei is raising funds for her third studio recording. In Sofia’s words:

“The new recording is meant as a collection of songs: fragments of time and space condensed in Latin American scenes that tell of simple stories that reveal the energy and seductive heterogeneity of who we are : Latin Americans living now in New York City. A cock fight in Cartagena, a love letter in New York, loneliness and laughter, a haunted man from the Andes , a nightmare in Buenos Aires, and the hope for a better life are some of the themes of these new songs.”

This new album will feature Sofia’s fabulous band including musicians from Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Japan, and the US.
