Description

"Sabores Americanas" means "American Flavors" in Portuguese, the language of Brazil. One of my favorite trios here is composed of a Cuban pianist, & two Brazilians on drums and bass. We primarily play Jazz and Bossa Nova, but noticed that really cool blends could happen. I thought to create a project whereby we took advantage of our individual cultures and influences to bring some unexpected twists to the music. We plan to present the show at local theatres in Sao Paulo this October and with you help, we'll be able to record the show, mix and create a CD. Once we have that, we'll be able to sell the show throughout Brazil and around the world. Maybe you'll see us live in your town one day! And if you donate, you'll certainly get a copy of the CD.
